Grant Seekers

The Greater Manhattan Community Foundation seeks to be a responsive and proactive community partner that works strategically to address existing and emerging community issues. The Community Foundation has invested significant dollars in the form of grants to nonprofit organizations. Organizations recognized under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code and/or a qualified government entity and located in our service area are eligible to receive grants. Grant applications will be available from this site based on the schedule below. If you have any questions, please contact Foundation staff at foundation@mcfks.org.

Please note that all of these competitive grant programs have their own funding priorities and proposal requirements.

Grants for Greater Manhattan - Applications for the 2010 Grants for Greater Manhattan grant will be accepted March 1, 2010 to April 19, 2010.


 Youth Impacting Community (YIC) - Applications for the 2010 YIC Grants will be accepted beginning September 1, 2010 until October 8, 2010. 


Kids Who Care - Applications for the 2010-2011 Kids Who Care grant will be accepted March 1, 2010 to April 19, 2010.


Don Dodge Youth & Aviation Fund - Proposals from Manhattan area non-profit organizations that support youth aviation projects and/or programs are due no later than 3:00 p.m., April 19th.
