Welcome Christa Rieger

We are excited to announce the appointment of Christa Rieger as Executive Director of the Atchison Foundation, a GMCF affiliate community foundation. Christa has been the owner of Storyweaver Brands since 2020.

Her company has been a strategic branding, communications, and digital initiatives company for nonprofits, community organizations, and mission-driven businesses. She has partnered with executive directors, boards, and leadership teams to clarify mission, strengthen communication, and build cohesive systems that support long-term growth.

Through her work with Project Atchison, she learned firsthand the impact of the Foundation and how it gives the community a margin to build better programs, think longer-term, and show up more fully for the community. Her work for 15 years across healthcare, education, nonprofits, and local organizations has given her a deep understanding of donor motivations, legacy giving, and community-based philanthropy.

Christa stated “I’m honored to help lead the Atchison Foundation into its next chapter and to partner closely with the Board in strengthening its impact for generations to come.”
