The purpose of the North Central-Flint Hills Area Agency on Aging (NC-FH AAA) is to serve individuals aged 60 and older across 18 counties in Kansas, including Chase, Clay, Cloud, Dickinson, Ellsworth, Geary, Jewell, Lincoln, Lyon, Marion, Mitchell, Morris, Ottawa, Pottawatomie, Republic, Riley, Saline, and Wabaunsee. With a $6,000 grant through Grants for Greater Manhattan, the agency provided 50,557 meals to 470 older adults in Manhattan and Riley County through the Manhattan Senior Center. The number of meals served in Riley County increased by 27.6% between October 1, 2021, and September 30, 2023.
