Thrive! Flint Hills Foundation - 2024

Thrive! is a nonprofit organization focused on reducing poverty by building skills and fostering relationships that strengthen families and individuals. At its core, Thrive! is an empowerment program that helps people set and achieve meaningful goals. They received a $5,625 grant through Grants for Greater Manhattan to expand their youth development programs, which meet every Tuesday evening. One staff member dedicates 15 hours a week to creating and implementing a curriculum that teaches youth important skills centered around the six pillars of character: trustworthiness, fairness, respect, caring, responsibility, and citizenship. Thrive! continues to inspire lasting change and growth in the community.
