True Colors Flint Hills - 2024

True Colors is a nonprofit organization that provides direct services, advocacy, and education to support queer and trans youth. As a youth-led group, they empower LGBTQIA+ middle and high school students to use their voices and advocate for their needs. They received a $7,500 grant through Grants for Greater Manhattan to create a dedicated room for Curtis-Baker Therapeutic Services (CBTS), offering mental health services to youth ages 12 to 18. This funding has allowed them to expand their therapy services and respond to the many referrals they have received. True Colors continues to meet the needs of youth while increasing access to critical support
