Light MHK Expendable Fund

Our mission is to support the lives of people affected with mental health challenges. We offer resource opportunities to mental health providers, professionals, and projects in the Greater Manhattan area.

LightMHK supports mental health and wellness in the Greater Manhattan area by removing barriers to care for those struggling with mental health challenges. Your gift helps open doors to care.

“Light” reflects donors’ actions supporting mental health: Love, Invest, Give, Heal, and Treat. “MHK” represents the region of service and is an acronym for Mental Health for Kansans.

In pursuit of our mission, LightMHK offers local mental health professionals and projects resource opportunities to help cover patient care costs, strengthen mental health programs, and promote mental health awareness.

We are funded through donations and led by a board of directors of local volunteers devoted to improving mental health care awareness and access.
