2024 Juneteenth Concert

The 2024 Juneteenth concert in Manhattan, Kansas, was the crown jewel of the city’s three-day celebration of freedom and Black culture. Held on the evening of Saturday, June 15, at Douglass Park, the free outdoor concert drew a lively, diverse crowd for a night of powerful music and community spirit.

Grammy and Academy Award-winning singer Regina Belle was headlining the event known for her timeless hits like A Whole New World and Make It Like It Was. She was joined by acclaimed vocalist and producer Chris Walker, whose soulful sound added depth and emotion to the night’s performances.

Backed by a live band and surrounded by food trucks, local vendors, and families dancing under the summer sky, the concert was more than a show—a celebration of resilience, unity, and joy. From smooth R&B ballads to high-energy classics, the music lit up the evening and created a memorable close to the Juneteenth festivities.
