Deborah Geiger

Hiawatha Community Foundation Executive Director

Before joining HCF, Deborah spent 14 years as the leader of the Atchison Art Association, overseeing organizational growth, financial stability, and the launch of community-focused initiatives, including a cultural center and public art projects. Her background also includes experience as a small business owner, where she developed skills in turning ideas into tangible results. Deborah lives with her husband and three children on a farm, where they enjoy working together and being part of the agricultural community. In her free time, she appreciates spending time outdoors, gardening, and exploring art. Through her role at HCF, she is committed to strengthening the Hiawatha area by supporting local projects, promoting charitable giving, and building partnerships that foster lasting positive change.
