Krista Thomas

Clay Center Community Improvement Foundation Executive Director

Krista Thomas joined the Greater Manhattan Community Foundation (GMCF) in June 2025 as the Executive Director of the Clay Center Community Improvement Foundation (CCCIF). A lifelong member of the Clay Center community, Krista brings 14 years of experience as an elementary educator, during which she served on numerous committees and held various leadership roles. Her background in education has equipped her with strong communication, relationship-building, and leadership skills—key assets as she works to guide CCCIF’s growth and long-term success.

Krista lives on a farm with her husband and three children. Outside of work, she enjoys helping on the family farm and supporting her kids in their many activities.
