KSBBS matches youth (ages 5-17) facing adversity to carefully screened volunteers in evidence-based one-to-one mentoring programs. They believe all youth, regardless of race or socioeconomic status, can achieve success in life, especially with the guidance and support of a caring adult mentor.
In 2023, YIC granted the program $3,000 to help cover the cost of two new community-based matches and provide professional case-managed support, supervision, and training to these matches for one year.
