RIK Manhattan provides a week-long summer camp for abused and neglected children in the foster care system from Manhattan and the surrounding communities, run completely by a volunteer staff.
In 2023, the Youth Impacting Community granted $500 to support RIK’s KIDS camp this summer, June 10-14, 2024. The hope is for a week of camp of fun activities where children are surrounded by caring adults whose focus is on modeling constructive relationships to improve these children’s self-esteem and make a real difference in their lives.
