Riley County's WIC program supports over 1,000 individuals within the Manhattan Community. Designed for pregnant, postpartum, and breastfeeding women, infants, and children up to five years old meeting 185% of the federal poverty level, WIC plays a crucial role in their well-being.
YIC has allocated $1,250 to support Riley County WIC's recruitment and retention initiative. This project aims to boost program participation and uphold existing nutrition education services. The goal is to expand the program's reach while ensuring the continued provision of valuable nutritional support.
