Thrive! - 2022

Thrive! is a poverty-reduction program that serves both adults and youth. The program teaches both young and old community members new skills. In 2022, YIC granted the program $1,000 for its youth program.
Thrive! has four goals for adult participants: increase financial stability, build social support, increase healthy relationships, and improve physical and mental health. Currently, Thrive! has 12 youth members, and the money funded by YIC will provide financial assistance to allow youth members to participate in sports and other extracurricular activities like volleyball or soccer over 2023.
