Howe Family Foundation

The Greater Manhattan Community Foundation announced the addition of it's second supporting organization in 2013 - the Howe Family Foundation. Through the generosity of Phil and Margaret Howe, this fund was started to provide support to charitable organizations and programs. In it's first year, the Howe Family Foundation gave $60,500 in grants to local nonprofits including the Crisis Center, Inc., Flint Hills Breadbasket, Flint Hills Community Clinic, Manhattan Emergency Shelter, Inc., Sunflower CASA Project, Inc., USD 383 Foundation Flint Hills Summer Fun Camp, and Greater Manhattan Community Foundation Youth Impacting Community.
