Jim Gordon

2013 - 2014 Board Chair

Jim Gordon

Jim has provided clients with tax, consulting, and accounting services for over 40 years. He graduated from Kansas State University in 1976 and joined the firm in 1980. As a partner, he leads the firm's business consulting and tax services divisions. He works with clients on estate tax planning, business consulting, business valuation and income tax preparation and planning. Jim is an author and presenter of continuing education programs in business valuation, income tax training, and professional ethics. Community service is important to Jim, who has served the Manhattan area in many roles.

Jim was one of the founders of the Greater Manhattan Community Foundation and served as its first board president. He currently serves as the 2017 Manhattan Area Chamber of Commerce Chairman. Jim is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Kansas Society of Certified Public Accountants, and the Public Accountants Association of Kansas, of which he is past president.
