Bill Bahr

Born in Wichita, Kansas, in 1972, Bill is from Great Bend, Kansas. He attended Kansas State University, where he earned a B.A. in 1994. He attended law school at the University of Kansas, where he was managing editor of the Kansas Law Review and was awarded his J.D. in 1997. Bill was admitted to the bar in Kansas in 1997.

Bill joined Arthur-Green, LLP in 1997. He is experienced in general civil litigation, business litigation, and construction disputes. Bill also represents several financial institutions with transactions, collections, and foreclosures. He advises business clients in a variety of areas, including transactions, real estate matters, and employment. Bill is active in the Manhattan community and currently serves on the Homecare and Hospice Foundation board, the Kansas State Newman Foundation, and the Greater Manhattan Community Foundation Executive Committee. He is a Riley County Legal Ethics Committee member and the 21st District Judicial Nominating Commission.

We chatted about his year as board chair, adapting and overcoming challenges during the COVID lockdown, and helping those most impacted by the pandemic in the Manhattan community with the MHK Together program.
