Jackie Hartman Borck

2022 - 2023 Board Chair

Jackie Hartman Borck is retired as Chief of Staff and Director of Community Relations from Kansas State University. She was a professor of higher education at Kansas State and Colorado State Universities for 29 years before shifting to administration. Jackie’s family came to Manhattan in 1970, where she went to Manhattan Junior and Senior High Schools, followed by K-State. She enjoys being active in the Manhattan Community, where she has served on the Hospital, Chamber, First Presbyterian Church, Meadowlark, and other boards. Jackie is the chair-elect of the GMCF Board.

Today, we chatted with GMCF’s 2022-2023 Board of Directors Chair. We discussed how she became involved with the foundation, her year as board chair, and the importance of the arts for community growth.
