Therese Miller

Therese is a retired Banker and spent the last 12 years as a mortgage loan officer and vice president with Community First National bank.  She grew up in western Nebraska but moved to Kansas and studied finance and marketing at Kansas State University. She spent most of her adult life in Manhattan and her three children and two grandchildren also still live in Kansas.  She began her volunteer life with her church and continues with several committees at St. Thomas More.  Her initial board leadership positions were with United Way, Manhattan Emergency Shelter, and the Manhattan Chamber. “It has been an honor to serve as Chair of the Executive Board for GMCF and as treasurer for the previous 5 years.  I am humbled by the generous spirit of our donors.” She currently serves on the St. Thomas More Memorial Trust and Care Committees, Homecare Hospice Foundation Board, Fairy Godmothers HUG grant committee, and Little Apple Pilot Club.
